"I would like to take the time to put this out there to anyone who’s looking into a moose hunting trip. Jason and the crew at The Hideaway Lodge in Newfoundland is worth checking out! From personal trips (5-6) I can say they’re a great outfitter! Jason and the crew go out of their way to make you feel at home there. The guides go out of their way to make your hunt comfortable and do all they can to put moose in front of you to harvest! They have a very beautiful and comfortable lodge for your stay with them-including fantastic meals and snacks. Lots of friendly times can be had both at the lodge and in the woods hunting! Jason and the boys (as I call them) will do everything they can to get you a moose (you do have to do the shooting) of your choice and take care of dressing it and get it back to the lodge. So I guess I highly recommend this outfitter and I am anxious to get back up for my next hunt with them!"

"Right from the beginning, as we took off from the main lodge in a helicopter, we knew we were in for an adventure. Seeing moose from overhead as we flew to the Spike Camp was encouraging. The lodge was warm and comfortable. Perfect for the three of us plus the guides. Open fire meals, fresh air and open water, no noise or light pollution. The rolling hills, and open, untouched terrain allowed us to start our hunt as soon as we walked out the door. We also had a mix of older and younger people in our party and the guides ensured to customize our hunt based on our abilities. This was as good as it gets and the Hideaway Lodge made it comfortable and fun the entire time. I would recommend this hunt for anybody looking for something more remote and adventurous."

"I was recently fortunate enough to spend a week moose hunting at hideaway lodge. This by far was one of the best experiences of my life. I was treated like family and would not hesitate to go back again.
