Wrapping Up the 2024 Hunting Season – A Big Thank You to Our Hideaway Family

As the 2024 hunting season is over for us, we at Hideaway Lodge can’t help but reflect on what an incredible season it’s been. From the first crisp mornings of September to the final hunts in the heart of Newfoundland’s breathtaking wilderness, this year was one for the books. But none of it would have been possible without the amazing people who made it all happen.

Thank You to Our Incredible Clients

To every hunter who walked through our doors this season—thank you. Your passion, determination, and enthusiasm are what make this experience so special. From first-timers taking their first steps into the bog to seasoned veterans returning for yet another adventure, each of you brought something unique to the lodge. We hope the stories, memories, and trophies you’ve taken home will keep you smiling until the next hunt.

Our Guides: The Backbone of Every Adventure

A huge shoutout to our hardworking guides—Warren, Terry, Kirk, Sean, Chris, Chris, Jeremy, Tylor, Todd, and Ivan. Day in and day out, these folks went above and beyond to ensure successful hunts, navigate challenging terrain, and create unforgettable experiences. Their expertise, dedication, and camaraderie are second to none. We couldn’t ask for a better team!

These are the people who make the magic happen, and we’re proud to have them as the heart and soul of Hideaway Lodge.

Behind the Scenes: The Heroes of the Lodge

Big thanks to our cook, Sonia, for keeping everyone fueled and happy after long days in the field. Nothing beats a hearty meal and warm laughs at the end of a successful hunt. And let’s not forget Chip, who certainly did his part as the unofficial lodge greeter and morale booster!

A Nod to Our Local Partners

We’re so fortunate to work with incredible local businesses that help make Hideaway Lodge what it is:

  • Meat Shop Our trusted local butcher, ensuring every hunter’s hard-earned prize is handled with care.

  • Central Meats For providing top-quality meat that kept our clients well-fed and satisfied throughout the season.

  • Mark’s Market For the fresh produce that kept us going strong.

  • Taylor’s Auto A new local auto shop in Grand Falls-Windsor that provided fast, friendly, and reliable service, keeping our machines running smoothly and ready to go all season long.

  • Stagg Signs Providing all our printing and embroidery services, including team shirts, sweaters, hats, signs, banners, stickers, and more. They keep us looking sharp and professional, on and off the field.

It’s partnerships like these that allow us to provide top-notch service while supporting our local community.
